WHAT INSURANCES DO YOU ACCEPT?

Loftus Acupuncture and Wellness is not in network with any insurance providers. Loftus Acupuncture accepts FSA & HSA, cash, check, and credit cards. Upon request, Loftus Acupuncture can provide a Superbill for patients to submit to insurance for reimbursement. However, Loftus Acupuncture cannot guarantee any insurance repayments.

DOES ACUPUNCTURE HURT? IS IT SAFE? WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS?

In my opinion and those of my patients, acupuncture doesn't hurt. Sometimes you may feel an uncomfortably heavy or tingly sensation. Not to worry, we call this "De Qi" in TCM and it is a good sign that treatment is effective.

In the hands of a licensed practitioner acupuncture is a very safe, pain-free, effective, treatment for many acute and chronic conditions that has been used for thousands of years.

Side effects of acupuncture can include bruising, fatigue, light-headedness, or drops in blood sugar. However, precautions for these events are taken with each treatment and are rare occurrences. Please let us know if you have any conditions that may of concern with these issues.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM YOUR TREATMENTS?

Anyone can benefit from acupuncture or other Tradtional Chinese Medicine treatments. That's the beauty of a science based on our interactions with nature; the purpose is to regain and retain balance.
